Dear Members,

PLEASE join me at the Virgin London Marathon 2010. Two runners are giving their efforts, time and energy in running for Cavernoma Alliance UK -  Josh Low, a friend of Cavernoma Alliance UK, and Mr. Neil Kitchen, CA UK's senior medical adviser, and consultant neurosurgeon, National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square.

Mr. Neil Kitchen's fund-raising is being split between Cavernoma Alliance UK and the Development Foundation for his hospital. The Development Foundation have a boat moored near Hungerford Bridge on the Embankment. Members should gather near the boat around 11am on Marathon Day, which is Sunday 25th April 2010, to cheer our runners! In addition, you can support Josh Low (now) or Mr. Kitchen (shortly) by going to the donate section of our website.

Needless to say we are very fortunate to have Mr. Kitchen running on our behalf. PLEASE COME ALONG AND SUPPORT HIM. No need to RSVP for this event (although if you want to drop me a note it would be reassuring to know that it will not be just your co-ordinator cheering and making a fool of himself.)

Allow plenty of time to get to Hungerford Bridge, especially if you are coming from further afield. With rail/tube strikes likely to occur at some stage during the month, please plan accordingly.

Details of the Marathon can be found by going to http://www.virginlondonmarathon.com/ or for a very useful map of the route http://www.londonmarathonroute.co.uk/

Hope you are well.

Ian.
