Hope somebody can let me have some advise - I have a brainstem cavernoma which bled back in 2001, but has behaved itself since then. My problem is that I have recently been diagnosed with Angina, and have bad family history in this area. My cardio consultant would like to carry out an angiogram and possibly fit stents or maybe perform a bypass. However, this will involve blood thinning drugs, probably long term, something which my cavernoma consultant does not want.
Has anybody come across this particular issue themselves ?
Best regards, Philip Mousley.
