Film about brainstem cavernous angioma

Postby Connie Lee » Mon Mar 07, 2016 3:05 am

I went to the premiere of an independent film telling the story of William and Mary professor Regina Root's journey with brainstem cavernous angioma - her bleeds, surgery, and rehabilitation - called Regina's Gift. I thought the film was very well done - honest both emotionally and medically. The film won't be shown in theaters again, but if you are interested, here is a link to where you can view the trailer and purchase the DVD (Angioma Alliance does not benefit - the film makers are trying to recover their cost to make the film and I'm happy to support them): http://www.stikdawgmediallc.com/store/Reginas-Gift/D30440BC-9561-48B2-BC4F-348F0735BD71?category=all
