I went to the premiere of an independent film telling the story of William and Mary professor Regina Root's journey with brainstem cavernous angioma - her bleeds, surgery, and rehabilitation - called Regina's Gift. I thought the film was very well done - honest both emotionally and medically. The film won't be shown in theaters again, but if you are interested, here is a link to where you can view the trailer and purchase the DVD (Angioma Alliance does not benefit - the film makers are trying to recover their cost to make the film and I'm happy to support them):
